The Creamway™ is a polishing lap, made of a zirconium oxide - ceramic polymer placed onto an aluminum baseplate.

The Lap is ready to use, just add dripping water to keep it damp. Large facets can sometimes be polished faster with a minimal boost with a thin slurry of zirconium oxide. It is specially developed for quartz, but can be used to polish most silica minerals.
